Eight One, a luxurious three bedroom self catering accommodation
available throughout the year in Dartmouth, South Devon. This
historic town is a wonderful location for walking, sailing,
sampling the delights of the many local restaurants, bars
and pubs or simply relaxing and enjoying the beautiful countryside.
One Eight One has recently been lovingly restored to its original
Victorian elegance blended with touches of modern contemporary
living.
Downstairs there is a lounge with television, DVD and CD players.
The separate dining room has a large table, which will comfortably
seat six people but can be extended if required. Opposite
the dining room is a cloakroom. There is a fully fitted kitchen
with dishwasher, microwave and a plentiful supply of kitchen
equipment. Both the dining room and kitchen lead into the
pretty courtyard.
Upstairs the bedroom at the front of the house is full of
charming antique furniture with a stylish French walnut inlaid
double bed taking centre stage. The second bedroom, which
has delightful views out over the field behind the house,
has a pretty iron double bedstead and a lovely fitted curved
wardrobe. The single bedroom has bunk beds and views over
Dartmouth. The bathroom has a WC, large corner bath, washbasin
and separate shower. Off the bathroom is the laundry room,
which contains a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing
board.
All linen, including beach towels, is supplied. A variety
of indoor and outdoor games are available. Very well behaved
children are welcome and a travel cot and high chair can be
provided on request.
On arrival guests will find a welcome basket of local organic
produce plus tea, coffee and sugar. A selection of fresh and
dried herbs, spices, oil and condiments are also supplied.
There is a private parking space for the house which is 2
minutes walk away.
